A Tiny House Christmas
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. The lights, decorations, music, festivities; it is all just joyous, and everything feels cozy. Snuggling up in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa in front of the lit tree, for me not much can compete with this feeling.
When you have a tiny living space and love Christmas, things can get interesting. I don’t like when things get too cluttered and when you are adding decorations, clutter can happen easily. In order to make the most of my space, I take down my day to day décor and replace with Christmas décor. Not to say that it still looks minimal and bare; however, when you replace items it helps immensely.
I like to have decorations in each room, even if they are subtle. My favorite Christmas item is the snowman. I’ve been collecting them for years. They adorn my fireplace and my windowsill. I even have a blow mold snowman outside from the nineteen fifties, his name is Mr. Flake (or Monsieur Flake).
I purchased a pencil tree last Christmas and it works perfectly in my space. I have many ornaments from when I was young and my mom gives me an ornament every year to add to my collection. It is a collection of forty years and memories flood back with each one. My tree brings me much joy.
Below are pictures of what Christmas looks like in my tiny space. I hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays!
